Blue-inked cloudless night,
Draped over a slumbering lake.
Moonlight skips carefree to the shore,
As a gentle breeze ambles by.

Basking in glorious silence,
Autumn leaves flutter past,
As my gaze captures distant hills,
Which cling to the horizon with parental love.

A lone moored boat
Is drifting through my thoughts.

Time stops to rest beside me,
As the air pauses for breath,
And I embrace with overwhelming clarity,
That the essence of life, is love.
